Itinerary

Our hiking tour starts from Chortiatis village. We follow the icemakers path, which is the most popular route in Chortiatis mountain. It took its name from the old villagers, where on very cold winter nights, they climbed the mountain, created ice and then sold it to the wealthy families of Thessaloniki.

We make a stop at Chortiatis refuge and then we take the path for Kolosourtis peak, where we can enjoy the view to Thessaloniki, Thermaikos bay and on clear days Olympus Mt. Then we return back to Chortitis village.
