A mountainous 3 day hiking tour on the legendary Mt Olympus, home of ancient Greek Gods! On our 3 Days Hike Olympus tour, we will hike through this monumental natural landscape. Thickly forested slopes and steep rocky and cloud-covered peaks, host more than 1.500 plant species, some of them rare and endemic, as well as wolves, jackals, deer, and some endangered bird and butterfly species. In our tour we will stay at Apostolidis and Spilios Agapitos mountain hut offering shelter and food to its visitors, that stream from all over the world to admire its beauties. Mt Olympus has an extensive network of trails, its total length exceeding 160 klm.

Our day starts from Litochoro where we meet and head to Gkortsia, where is the starting point of our hike.
The route we will cover on the first day is a 12 km route approximately 8-9 hours with stops and is one of the most popular hiking trails on mt Olympus. Most of this hike passes through dense forests of pine, beech, fir and holm oak.
We make a short stop at the Petrostrougga refuge and continue to the Muses Plateau, passing the peak of Skourta, the spectacular horizontal ridge of Laimos and the famous pass of Yossos. Arriving at the Plateau we enjoy the unique throne of Zeus and the surrounding peaks.
If the weather permits and we hike to Prophet Ilias (2,803m) with its chapel.
Distance: 8km – Duration: 6-7 hours
We wake up early in the morning to enjoy the magnificent view and sunrise from the Muses Plateau, and after having our breakfast, we cross Zonaria heading for Skala and Skolio peaks and end up at the Spilios Agapitos refuge for the night.
Distance: 12km – Duration: 6-7 hours
We start early in the morning and head to Prionia, the Enipeas Gorge with the wonderful waters and the waterfall, the cave of Agios Dionysios its chapel and finally we reach Gkortsia.
